Re Sky - this may have been the case since year dot and i have just realised but every weekend lately we have had the same (or thereabouts) teams playing; Wigan, Saints, Hudds and Warrington...with the odd sprinkle of Leeds.

Most other teams / games (unless playing the aforementioned) don't appear to get much exposure. Like i say i may have missed this for the last decade!! icon_surprised.gifops:

Its always been like that which is fair enough really. Sky know which games get the best viewing figures and arrange the games accordingly. It would be nice for a change every once in a while though. When was the last time Wakey were on for example?

SKY firstly pick the rounds up to Easter so that every team gets shown their minimum amount of times, after that they concentrate on the top teams.

They have done this for years, the reason you've only just noticed is that Hull aren't classed as a 'big' team anymore, therefore we get on the TV far less these days.

also no relegation means no 'big' games down at the bottom anymore.

That's a good point about lack of relegation. Bradford v Wakey and Wakey v Cas in 2006; Widnes v Cas (think it ended 7-6 to someone) in 2004 are just some that spring to mind that made for good viewing due to the relegation battles they were involved in. Even when Wigan flirted with relegation in 2006, there was some drama to be had as we (the majority of the RL fans!) willed them to lose!
