| Ive read all the topics now this weekend and doesn,t it totally break your heart as to whats happening at fc?
alot of people know me and who i go to rugby with,my father and his two pals chucked it last season part way through, i was gutted, they can tell a tale about your joe olivers your clive sullivans your whitleys roger the dodger, cast iron casey the puma dukesy stoney to name just a few, they had been supporting fc for 70 yrs,67 yrs and 66 yrs respectively, the knowledge these guys have, the players they have witnessed is mind blowing.
They obvoiusly know a thing or two about rugby theyve stopped going while agar is in charge,i know in any kinda weather and all that, this is not about supporting your team whilst they are losing its about we have totally lost the plot boardroom, coaching and players.
i know we make tens maybe hundreds of thousands through the shop etc etc but we are spiralling into freefall then who knows were, for the sake of every supporter in this town and those who live further a field we are on the verge of losing something big time here, board you gotta act now all the hard work you have done for years trying to get bums on seats could be lost in the next two weeks. Your decisions are crucial please listen to the guys and gals who are trying to help you.........................bring back the good times ...........

| Heart-wrenching when 3 people with more than 200 years (combined) of support behind them feel it just simply isn't worth it anymore.
The worst part of all, as many other clubs have found out in the past, is that losing those fans is far easier than persuading them to come back. Once people get out of the habit of going it can be difficult to get them back through the gates again.
If the club isn't careful it is going to lose more than mere goodwill from a fan base who have been loyal and patient but who are rapidly reaching the end of their tethers.

| it takes years to build up crowds but takes a whole lot less to suffer crowd loss and to start this season with getting 10-11k is so sad and angry towards the board becuase the potential for this club is huge and it was only last season and the year before we were getting close to 15 k for games against cas and bradford ect at home yet this season we have leeds at home the opening and first home game of the season which should of got 15-16k at leaste yet we get 11k. WELL DONE JAMES RULE FOR HOLDING THIS GREAT CLUB BACK, make a stand and dont attend the castleford game and save your money

Great from the heart post there butler. If only the powers that be could read things like this it might give them the slap accross the face they so dearly need.

None of them support the club so why would they care?

| Agar may well be for the chop.
What about the people who appointed him and then awarded him a two year extention, shouldn't they be for the chop?
Your CEO has made poor coaching appointment after poor coaching appointment. It is the CEO who MUST go first!
Your current CEO will only make another wrong decision and take the club further back than it is now.
A new CEO would bring a new attitude to the club and if it was someone with a track record of quality and excellence then they will bring quality people in who will do an excellent job.
You need a new coach but you also need someone with the ability to appoint a quality new coach. Your current CEO by the recent track record doesn't appear to have that ability.

Just one point, James Rule has only been Chief Exec for the appointment of Agar. Fair play it's a bad one, but it's wrong to say that he has a track record of appointing poor coach after poor coach.

Especially considering that he doesn't actually make the decision.

I suspected that was the case. The only concern I have about Rule is whether or not he has his own opinion on rugby-related matters.

Jake they have a vested interest in the business that is Hull FC. Ok we will be in SL for the next 3 yrs minimum. I know some claim the A grade gives us another 6 at least but the RL are very good at moving goalposts.
Sponsors need to see who they are exposed to. Its a fact that the more successful teams appear on TV the most. P+O who pay the biggest wedge after Sky will soon disappear if they see no return.
ISC will not sell so many shirts and whilst they provide to many smaller clubs than us they will not be willing to pump out quite so much when sales drop.
Crowds alone dropping affects the finances drastically and before the BOD know it their pay cheque will be heading into the red.
Very simply put that's why they HAVE to care.
34 yrs I have supported this club. 21 of them from the south of England. Every year I have ploughed in a large % of my income. They have not had a penny from me since I attended the Sts match last June. Ok I am not SKy or P+O etc but I am part of the clubs biggest sponsors the fans. I am not alone in my views on financing this regime.
The club through JR and JC have made it clear I don't really count as I am not Sky or P+O or a cooperate sponsor, but I am a constant over a long time I know of no sponsor who has been around as long as me. I am slowly getting out of the habit and if things don't change my weekly habits will revolve around many other more entertaining pass times that are vying for my disposable.

If you are replying to me I never said that. I have read my bit again and I understand what I said but to make it clear for you. Our sponsors may well disappear or at the very least reduce the wedge they input.
I am not Sky or P+O corporate sponsor etc but I have been a constant for 34 yrs which is far more than any sponsor. Its for that reason that the BOD need to care about us as for me its a chicken and egg situation. If the 18th man isn't there en mass the sponsors will not be there en mass.
The NL teams don't get sponsorship like us why is that?
The NL teams don't make profits like us why is that?
Most of the SL teams don't attract sponsors paying what ours do, why is that ?
Most SL teams make a loss Hull FC by all accounts don't, why is that ?
When the answer to all of the above walks away from Hull FC the BOD will start asking the questions.
Sorry if I was ambiguous

toatally agree with you the board have taken us for granted and now we are seeing our poor on the field results and performances having a bearing on the crowds ect and if it carries on then no doubt that will have an huge effect on sponsors ect
