You're not the first person I have heard say that, a fair few of my friends think the optimism of the off season is soon to be replaced by the harsh reality of the season "proper".

One line goes, Rule said to Agar "Berrigan is leaving", Agar replied "what we going to do", Rule replied "Well, we will have to do summut", "Sammut?" came Agar's reply "I'll get the DVD's out".

Our squad builfing for 2011 is nothing short of farcical at the moment, I have to question signing anyone 4 weeks before the season starts, doesn't exactly show that it's been there ambition to play for FC.

I guess in 3 months we'll have our answers, and possibly a shed load more questions.

What would be nice is to see the arrangements for the fans forums throughout the season advertised now, so that the timings cannot be cynically amended to suit on the field performances.

Just to defend the group (as i'm not longer a part of it and therefore neutral) at no point in time were the forums arranged to not hear concerns during difficult periods. The forums were always arranged for at certain points in the season and were always open for any fan to go along and ask whatever question to whomever they wanted.

I dont understand the levels of negativity about the forum sometimes.

Not a dig at FCVoices mate, just an observation that we'll not have a forum if things aren't going well.

But Voices arrange the forum so indirectly i think it is a dig. (granted unintentionally)

I dont know of any instance since the fans forums started that dates were landed or amended based on success on the pitch. (to avoid flack) I'm interested to hear where your observations has come from?

Think they are totally unrelated mate. If last season is anything to go by when i was involved the seasons dates for fans forums will already be in the calender.
