Quite telling, one minute Rule is saying "we've made our big signings" then Dowes signs for another year.

As expected really. If this is it in the forwards, the question is whether Fitz plays prop with Washy/Whiting LF or whether Lauaki plays interchange prop, I guess, particularly as it's possible Radford will miss the start of the season.

We could run with three props but I'm not sure moa can do 60mins.

In all honesty he was never going to leave. No other club wanted him and we couldn't find anyone better - says it all really.

Don't know why everyone is complaining. He was an integral part of the team who came within 10 minutes of finishing 4th in 2010. With will sharp and grant raviolli we'll be even stronger in 2011

I don't understand what they want the club to do they went for prop targets and didn't get them, do you want the club to start the season short of props.

No problem with this deal, last season he was backup, I can't see that changing this year, one year deal for a prop that works hard, rarley gets injured, plays lots of minutes and great defence.

As much as i like Dowes its somewhat telling that everyone weve gone far has rejected us for whatever reason and we then just end up resigning nearly all of last seasons squad. Maybe both Agars vision and the thought of playing boring rugby with no chance of silverware has put everyone off except those with no other options but to stay ala Dowes.

Gives us depth in the prop department now but I would have him behaind Radders, O Meley, Moa and Fitz.

Interesting that he only missed 2 games in the 2010 season very unusual for a Hull player.

And with a stronger team we'll finish higher in the table of course
