| what are peoples thoughts to this?
1. Horne
2. Lynne
3. Yeaman
4. Hall
5. Briscoe
6. Turner
7. Tansey
I'd like to see how Turner would perform at stand-off and IMO Tansey is the next best 7. IIRC when we signed Turner he is potentially a 6 or 13 so when he develops further, his game at 6 could come in handy
Hall should play his best position (LC) and it's about time Lynne got a game alongside Yeaman
Horne can do a job at FB...Houghton hooker and Berrigan on the bench. I like Berro but hooker is fully booked and his impact/versatility off the bench is not too bad
If ya don't like it; don't go mental i just wanna see peoples thoughts...

| You know as well as i do that Tansey will be FB. Lyne may well play this week with Agars hand being forced to put in one of the U20's wingers or play yet another centre on the wing. With Fitz back we will no doubt revert to Washy & Horne pairing with Fitz taking the loose man berth.

2. Lynne
3. Yeaman
4. Turner/ Berrigan
5. Briscoe
6. Berrigan/ Turner
7. Tansey
Washbrook on the bench.
I would rather keep Turner at centre as we need (afap) to have a setteled back row

| Wouldn't have Hall or Berrigan in the 17.
I'd go with :
1 Tansey
2 Lyne
3 Turner
4 Yeaman
5 T. Briscoe
6 Nicklas
7 Horne
8 Dowes
9 Houghton
10 O'Meley
11 Tickle
12 Manu
13 Fitzgibbon
14 Washbrook
15 Lauaki
16 Radford
17 Moa

| I think that there's merit in this. I'd be inclined to drop Lauacki and Cussack as well as Hall. Maybe give Manu some time in the centre with Fitz up to second row and Washbrook at loose. Definitely Tansey in the halves probably with Berrigan and Horne to FB. It would be interesting seeing Lynne outside Manu and Manu would also help him defensively. Turner looks lacking in confidence under pressure against good opposition (Leeds twice and Wigan ) so maybe a spell in the 20's would be good for him as well? Might send a message to the players and is just something different against a side that we should be able to at least compete with. Makes no difference anyway so if we're going to experiment lets do it now.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

I think that your half backs have got brain farts written all over them!
That said it wont be dull if Turner and Tansey play 6 and 7 but maybe a bit tough on the old ticker.

| brain farts?! if you hadn't noticed we're not spoilt for choice at the moment
i reckon turner would play well at 6 or 7 that's all. we've got cover for centres in yeaman and hall since briscoe and lynne can play wing
washy shouldn't be in the halves since he's a LF and this has been proven. i don't fancy berro in the halves either
the halves are most important IMO and if we have to shuffle the team to get the best combo then so be it

We do have Richard Horne who is getting back to full fitness and a better organiser then Turner or Tansey.
I could understand playing either Turner and Tansey alongside Horne for a bit of flair but not both together IMO. Neither have proven they can do it at Super League level yet.

| Turner was stand off at Salford, Leeds and the Magic Weekend. I'm not blaming him for the defeats but they were hardly classic performances.

True. When he has played at stand off he has not played well.
He also had a mare against Wigan and I'm not sure now is a good time to play him in such a key position.
