Why are we afraid to "blood" our youngsters...Wigan had Tuson,Farrell and have also played Mossop and a couple of others this season....we dont,,,,Nicklas should have come on last night a lot earlier than he did.......just shows what agars thinking is.

Its a lot easier to blood youngsters into a winning side though.

Errrrr we have been winning matches yet he still persists in shoving 3 players round to accomadate one....i know what you mean but when do we blood them...we need to now.

Ive said it for a long time that the club are to cautious when giving young players a run out. Would Lyne make the same amount of mistakes as a player thats been part of the first team for years ?. How long does it take for a fullback to learn to catch a ball when senior players seem to be dropping them at alarming regularity.

I`d play Nicklas next week at scrum half .

Even though he's a stand off ? Play the young kids in their proper positions, where they are comfortable.

lets put a few kids in against the best most ruthless team in the league wen wer well under strength and have most of our big guys out eh. Kids need blooding when the times right but they also need protecting when the times wrong. Compare our kids to wigans and there must be a couple of years and stone between then

We're constantly being told about the decent young lads we have but seldom see them hit the first team. If they're good enough, they're old enough. We'll end up with the best reserve side in the league but none of them will have an Superleague experience and we'll still be up shi ite street having to rely on signing ageing players with injury problems.

I appreciate that they need to be nurtured too but a what point does the future, long term benefit to the side take overtake the kid gloves approach ?? It needs to happen soon. Look at some of the youth that Saints and Leeds have blooded this season. They've had established stars out and have taken the chance rather than playing the same also rans to cover gaps.

Quite right. Also a lot of our youngsters have gained 1st team experience either on loan or dual contract thus have had a number of games in open age rugby first.

Youngsters need to be brought through gradually in the right way otherwise they will probably crash and burn. Also you can't blood too many youngsters at the same time otherwise they will probably get battered every week which would do their development no good at all.

We are only saying play one in Danny Niklas who is a H/B and that is our problem area atm......Tomkins wasnt loaned out on a dual or loaned at all...you just put him in didnt you........put it this way...if we had him and Agar played him..it would be at prop for about 2 mins.
