| Nine times world speedway and long track champion Ivan Mauger will be in Hull on the 28th July, At the Gilson hotel, from 19-00hrs. He will be signing copies of his new book THE WILL TO WIN. After this he will be holding a q/a session in the hotel.....Why not go along and meet a true sporting legend.  |

that's a bit narrow minded don't you think? He's a legend in his sport around the world & for a fair portion of the Hull vikings fans(& those of other UK teams) that remember him at the very least.
won the last of his world championship titles whilst at Hull was granted an MBE, OBE & was inducted into NZ sports hall of fame in 1990, yes I'd say he was a legend! |
