Dowes: must be SL's least impressive forward, makes no meters what so ever. So what if he can manage 60/80mins a game...I'd rather have a prop playing for 10/20 (like Moa) and actually doing something. Great club servant, but several years past his best.

Radford: Knackered each week after 10mins, same lack of impact as Dowes. Players like Fitzgibbon do the same amount of work, but offer much more to the team. Also a joke of a captain, no enthusiasm or any attempt at rallying the players.

Cusack: Same as the above...yet its even worse because he fills a quota spot.

Horne: Complete spent force, I dread to think what inflated pay we are paying for him to look completely out of sorts in the halves. Fantastic servant to the club...but he simply isn't the pacey halfback with fantastic defense of pre-2008. If he is to stay he has to be given reduced salary and played as a utility squad player IMO. We can't carry a halfback who can't kick and who's only 'move' is a drop of the shoulder.

Tansey: Not impressed at all, plays 1 good game in 3. Looked great at Headingley the other week...but then had a complete mare again today. Tony used to make mistakes under the high ball, but at least he was physical enough to get out of trouble and not concede drop outs so often.

Hall: enough said on the other thread, totally out of his depth at SL level.

all the others I feel are good enough under a proper coach, or at least have the potential to be good players under a proper coach (such as Turner, Moa etc)

I would like to see a proven coach capable of coaching the current group of players that we have. We seem to have had a run of coaches that have coached natural instinct out of the players, and as such i think some players are not confident of playing what they see in fear of being made a scapegoat by agar and being dropped

The coach needs replacing but there are a number of players not good enough as well.

agree there staffs, get rid of the coach first, then look at getting rid of the likes of Dowes, Radders, Cusack, Washy, Hall (have i missed anyone out?? lol) no good coach would retain them anyway!

No point in bringing in new players only for Agar to drain the ability out of them like he has done with 'his' team. May as well not bother.

I do agree that Agar is a large part of it, but I don't think the above players are good enough for a top4 side anymore. All (except for Tansey who's obviously new) just haven't done it consistently for 2 years now.
