9 games played (apart from Quins & Crusaders), exactly a third of the regular season, and the table is starting to have a more settled look about it. The ups and downs of early season form are beginning to even out and teams are finding their true level.

Does anyone else feel the table as it stands today will bear a close resemblence to the table after week 27. I would expect Leeds to find a bit more in the way of consistancy and subsequently climb up the ladder, but everyone else is roughly in the area expected of them.

Wouldn't be too surprised if the final placings are on these lines:
Top 5 (in any order) - Wigan, Wire, Saints, Leeds, Huddersfield
Mid 4 (in any order) - Us, rovers, Bradford, Wakefield
Bot 5 (in any order) - Quins, Salford, Cas, Catalans, Crusaders

If someone offered us 5th spot now, I would take it as I'm not convinced we have enough in the locker for a top 4 spot

I concur. From what I've seen of other teams I think 5th would be a very good position to finish .

I don't think we've hit our best form yet, and think top 4 is definitely in our reach.
Personally, I think Warrington will drop off, and possibly so will Huddersfield.
Don't think Leeds will make top 5 at this rate. They've had a major loss of confidence it seems. The momentum seems to have been knocked out of them and sometimes it's hard to get it back. Look at us and Harlequins last year after pretty good starts.

Leeds will certainly make the play-offs though and will probably be in it until the last weekend, but won't win this year IMO.

i think 5th position this season would be a good season and puts us in a good position to progress in the next few years. but definatley think that a good run with no injuries and When we hit top form then think we can reallly challenge for the top 4.

2 points from the next 2 league games will show decent form IMO. Don't care which game it comes from. Nil points from the next 2 and we may struggle to reach the top 6

if we do lose our next 2 games and dont make the top 6 you cant say it was from losing to these 2 games. for me the crusaders and salford matches are the most dissapointing defeats and are the sort of defeats that MIGHT prevent us from getting in the top 4,5

From what i've seen of us this season we haven't yet really played well. I think we have a fantastic squad on paper and top 3 is a strong possibility if Agar actually gets us to perform. If not and if our inconsistencies remain they 5th will be the best we can achieve.

Wasnt Friday only the third time Long and Horne had played together this season? Put that together with a very unsettled backline up to now I would say there is plenty of room for improvement going forward but I have been particularly impressed with a couple of defensive efforts this season to suggest we are heading in the right direction.

I dont disagree. Just hope Agar has the ability to turn us into the team on the pitch that we can be.
