I'm undecided on whether it's a good thing. I dont like the idea of 2 draws been worth more than 1 win as that goes the model in our sport generally and in other sports.

although there really aren't that many draws in a season...

of the April fools stories running, I'd prefer this to be true and the other to be false!

It's certainly worthy of being an April Fools joke.

I'm sure it is.....but I'm not convinced if its a good joke or a poor one. It's certainly believable that it could happen hence why it will catch a few.

I would love this to be true, it works well in rugby union and very well in the Championship. It gives you that extra incentive to get something from the game, if not a win, a bonus point.

Dont like the idea one bit all it does is reward losers.

I think it's a clearly an April Fool but having said that I think it is something that will happen in the future.

It is an April Fool, it actually says so on the site. If you look in the top left just above the picture it says "[i01 April 2010 | April Fool[/i".

Aren't April Fools jokes suppose to be humourous?

ok, maybe it is an april fools joke but it makes you think, i would be all for bonus points in games, encourages teams to put in the effort even when the game might look lost. i think it has improved the championship too, some good games on a thursday night.
