| Does anybody have any recommendations where to park around Ellend Road? Don't want to use the on site parking as I'm told it's a nightmare to get out at the end of the game. Are the streets around the ground permit only like the KC?

Leeds board might be better.
FWIW, I wouldn't park anywhere near Elland Road, I'd park in The Light or somewhere and get a bus (if there are any, this is the RFL)

| As a disabled supporter, last time I went to Elland Road we parked in the "official" car park right opposite the ground.
I too thought it would be a nightmare getting out, but the police closed the main road off and the cars in the car park got out straight away, round the roundabout and straight on the M621, it took all of about 3 mins from getting in the car to being on the motoway

The organisation of the parking is bang on, no doubt about it, it all depends on which car parks are open, there is a huge amount of land to the right of ER, but if the guy that owns it hasn't been contacted by the RFL it may not be open.
The Chip Shop is also cracking!

Wouldn't recommend parking at the Light, or any of the carparks in the city centre - extortionate!
A good bet could be to get there fairly early and park down Gelderd Road. There's on road parking all the way down and plenty of side roads, might be a pain to get out of though, but it's fairly good for getting back onto the M621.

| The RFL have a shiuttle service running from the city centre, details on their website. Also, there are a few streets in the centre that are free parking after 6, around St Paul's Street and Park Square.

| Is it first come first served with official parking, or do you book? And where is the entrance to them if I'm coming off that roundabout off the M621?

| Went to the World Club Challenge and parking was none existent. Ended up doing what everyone else was and leaving it on the path. Seemed risky though and will be going in an official car park for this.

| Get off M62 at signs for White Rose shopping centre. After rounabout for White rose, straight on and get in right hand lane. Take next right exit (road forks off to right) and head that way till traffic lights (about 300 yards). At traffic lights get in left hand lane. In front of you is a pub called 'Tommy Wass'.
Turn left at lights. Head down that way, all down that road and the T-junction area near a graveyard are parking spots with no need for permits.
Use this area all the time for LUFC games without probs.
