My impression was that he did okay although i thought at times his assistants were not the best. A great example was the scrum given for a Hull knock on that resulted in their try. The acting half's arm was knocked by the Hull defender (can't remember which one) as he passed the ball. The ball went to ground and Hull snaffled it up. Bentham was unsighted but it was right in front of the touch judge/assistant ref who gave a knock on. They missed a few blatant short-ball forward passes from both teams but, on the whole, I thought the game was allowed to flow. I also wonder if some of the tries that they had disallowed would have been given if we'd had a video ref.

It was Tansey and I said exactly the same as it happened. The touch judges were like Statler and Waldorf.

| The touch judge along the east stand in the first half was awful, really didn't have a clue...and to be honest i think that try dissalowed when raynor tackled him was a try, it was right infront of us and i'm not sure he was intouch as weren't the people around us.

spot on for me that, Sharp looked to have scored then got draggedover for me and the 2 he gave when the the ball was batted back into play looked very dodgy.
Thought Bentham was poor in his own right too

Hull didn't protest much which left me doubting my eyesight.

| To be honest, the majority of our decisions did go our way. We only tend to notice the poor match officials when were on the losing side!

| makes me laugh when the touchjudge can spot whitings foot in touch after keeping the ball in play and flag it from the quins half, but cant spot a foward pass 5 metres in front of him
