the club gave away free tickets to anyone with a hu3 postcode last season for the harlequins game(west stand).this was something to do with the regeneration scheme around the woodcock street area.plus with wembley,helped to make it look like a decent crowd.without all these freebies,you are probably looking at around 8500 this time around,but with all the free tickets maybe around 10600?

Yeh that would have been best really although I think that the Foundation is paying some of the SMC 50% money on each ticket sold so they are probably limited in how many they give away. It think it will be around 2000. |

As this promotion was part of the HDM "Bounce Back" campaign did no-one at the Mail think of asking the SMC to waive its right to a cut of the free tickets?
Yeah I know I'm naive but it was just a thought.  |
