The brave thing to do would be to get rid of both now. Unless Rule is 100% confident that the Agar has the full respect of the whole squad for next season and is able to motivate and galvanise this group of players to deliver a top 6 finish as an absolute minimum, we're just waiting for the inevitable mid season distraction of changing the coach, scrabbling about for another one and ending up with either Jon Sharp or whoever is out of a job.

Thank god its not just me that felt like he was watching 'SHUDDERSFIELD' playing Cas yesterday.....and thats a badly turned out Shuddersfield too!

I thought I was immagining it, but no.......We Are playing 'old school Galpharm' style Rugby. And maybe thats why Huddersfield Giants are way above us at the moment. I'm one of the Agar supporters.....The guy is a good coach if left alone to actually coach the team his way. I remember he seemed to do OK immediately after John Kear was sacked. The lads we started a massive winning streak. Peter Sharp got the credit for that.....and the GF appearence that followed. Rich Agar needs to get back to HIS OWN STYLE with his own team. Next year....providing everyone invited can actually come and join the party.....Will be one amazing turnaround of fortunes. We will take SL by storm!

I know, its like sharp is getting involved too much, the players are getting confused, its like they don't know who to listen to, I just wish sharp wasnt here and agar can work by himself again. He was far better by himself, he seemed to have the players in shape. Sharpy needs to be told that hes an assistant and NOT a joint head coach.

Its your board who make the appointments, if they get rid you are likely to see them replaced with another 'cheap' option.

I doubt it , How many times can they afford not to appoint someone who knows what their doing.

If Agar can't control the coaches around him, he shouldn't be a head coach. I'm sorry. He could be the best tactician in the world, but if he is influenced by the decisions of others then he hasn't got the management skills needed to be a head coach at this level.

If he's not in control, he's not the man. End of.

i travelled from sunderland to watch that pathetic shower on sunday.. no leadership.. no heart no pride benny hill tactics.. agar should go nd take sharp and thorman with him.. giving the fact tho that thorman was more of a scape goat on sunday all most all the players on the pitch deserved the abuse that thorman had to take himself.. agar is nowt but a yes man that p[lays to rules tune.. why should we pay 18 quid to get into a cattle shed stadium on top of the travelling costs to witness that crap.. not fit to wear the shirt..
