| I'm after a program that will convert Word, Excel, AutoCad into one single PDF file.
Apparently Adobe doesn't do that.
Can anyone help?

| microsoft do a add-on you can down load it from them and its free. goes in the menu save as pdf
at work we use something called desk PDF it installs a postscript printer. so when you've finished the document you print it to the pdf printer then save it where you want you can also append and prepend to it so its quite usefull if you want to save a word document and an autocad document in one PDF

Just to clarify, do you want all three types of file in a single PDF document?

| pdf995 might do the trick. It sets up a 'printer' so that when you select to 'print' your MS Office file you are promted to save is as a PDF. It's freeware

So will CutePDF (which is the one I used). I'm not sure if you can combine output from several programs into one file though. There is one that lets you append output to a previously created pdf file though. Not sure what its called but I'll have a hunt and let you know if I find it.

| CutePDF will do what you want, it's just a bit tricky.
Adobe 8 professional onwards will let you do it easily.

We use PDFcreator available for free at www.sourceforge.net. it creates a printer and should let you do multiple documents at once.

Yes. I currently use PrimoPDF, but that only converts one file and I cannot add additional files.
I''ve priced a big job using Excel, wrote Method Statements using Word, and Site Plans on AutoCAD... I need all of them in one single PDF file.

A quick Google came up with rlthisrl if you can produce individual PDFs of the three documents. It's free and seems to be offering what you need.
Acrobat Pro allows you to append documents into the same PDF as well, but it's relatively expensive if you don't need all the other features.
