| First chance to post since friday and if it has already been covered then by all means move the thread but..............
Did anyone else notice how little go forward we had with dowes and radford at prop? When i heard the team although really annoyed about whiting missing out (injury?) and with 2 hookers on the bench but radford actually at prop i thought my opinion of radford might change. However this was not the case
Radford although working extremely hard was simply not big enough as a real prop to do any damage. He just offers nothing going forward. Even dowes who is hardly known for tackle breaking looked more likely even though he is starting to look severely fatigued and needs a break. As soon as thackray and king came on we started to make good yards but we lacked the final spark to put points on the board.
As a final gripe with Agar what is it with his attitude with defending a lead rather than extending it. Against maybe saints who can score points seemingly effortlessly at times i could understand (if not condone it as i feel you should lookt to put points on the board rather than defend a lead) as in the final 10 both teams looked tired and adding thackray back into the mix at the end would have given us more go forward but we again left dowes on the field.

| I think you are mistaking go forward for tackle busting. They are not the same thing. Cusack for example will break no more than 1 tackle a game but his go forward is very good.
I thought Radford went well at prop and imo our pack easily got the better of theirs.

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!
A Hull KR fan about Billy Slater:

| Can't see how anyone can fault the forwards (apart from slow PTB), we dominated their pack and if we had any creativity we could have racked up a much bigger score.

| Well we are going to need a massive forward effort against Warrington so while they did okay another improvment is definately going to be needed if we are to complete.

Agree.
I'd start with King instead of Radford and have Moa and Thacks on the bench.
