Can't see anyone from the coaching staff showing a complete stranger a private text from Agar TBH. In fact I'm not sure why a 'senior member' of the coaching staff would have been informed by text in the first place.

It's looking more and more likely that Orfords gonna stay in Aus so that leaves finch and i'm not sure he'll end up over here either so all the people totally dismissing Sean Long who would you sign that's available, come on??

He is still good enough....they are just offering a 1 year deal where as he wants a 2yr.......Im not fussed on him but he could do a job for us and we could use the Quota spots elsewhere......a centre and big nasty b@stard of a prop.

If we are looking for a F/B...i would love us to have a bid for Lee Byrne the Wales and Lions F/B....good under a high ball,loks to attack well and has got a howitzer of a left foot.

Agreed Lee Byrne is a superb player and appears to have all the attributes to make a top RL player. But I doubt he will ever leave RU.

a scrum half out of the met comp in sydney will do the trick in this substandard comp, look at drovers.. signed dobson, 3rd choice at canberra and rippin up trees. no need to waste money on big names, an out and out halfback who can get teams around the park are good enough.

well i was on a stag do with one of the players dads, and as far as his lads concerned, the coaching staff has told him that they should be expecting to be playing with orford next season, however this isnt a done deal but apparently the clubs gonna do whatever they can to get him, whether theyll do enough, i dont know (probably not) but only time will tell, also dont expect to see thorman for much longer, apparently agar and the board have had serious discussions on what to do with him, likely outcome imo is hes gona end up spending the rest of the season rotting in the reserves if he has another bad performance

I think the text story is very unlikely more likely someone of here .
As for Sean long I think orford is a year younger and 165,000 is not a ridiculous amount .
Also I couldnt see long wanting to move from round lancashire as they are plenty of teams round there. As for Lynch would be good signing and would be big improvement on what we have got.
