He was released for being crap, went to a club with a worse squad (on paper at least) who couldn't buy a win, and has completely turned them around - culminating in thrashing Wigan 62-0. This at a club who were nailed on for relegation according to just about every pundit just a few weeks ago.

It was and you'd need to go back another twenty years for a similar big win, a 35-18 success in April 1986. Rich pickings there in the early 80s but few and far between since.

I know for sure our squad will not be thinking or training this week with any previous performances in mind, don't like Leeds never have, I'm enjoying this season better then any previous SL era.

From memory ,we have won just 3 times at Headingley in SL. 2001, 18-16. It belted it down. 2006, 44-28, which flattered Leeds. Then 2007, 17-6.

Great memories of 2001 4 tries two by Tony Smith and a solitary but great goal from Matty Crowther Great game with the water running out of our shoes!!!

Whilst 2006 saw Cookie get 8 goals plus that brilliant 70 yard try by Nathan Blacklock running towards the Hull fans down the wing to see off a Leeds comeback, I can see that one now; it was the night it rained beer!!!

Any win at Leeds is a good win, just because they are down on numbers due to injuries and on the back of a dreadful start doesn't mean they can't turn us over.
Contined refocusing, prep like it's a do or die game and try to cut out the headless chicken moments that give the opposition chances to score and thus hope/confidence.
Really not confident with this one, we have the team, the coach is doing the right things right now and getting us winning if not spectacularly.
If that continues Friday and we sneak a one point win then that's another W in the column.

In normal circumstances you would say rain is good for us given our size advantage, but Leeds attack has looked so disjointed that it probably helps them.

Just remember they beat Saint's a few weeks back. I am cautiously optimistic but won't believe it till the final whistle blow.s

Another potential banana skin. Play like we have done and we'll do them, just need to view them as a wounded predator because they'll look a lot more like Leeds of 2015 if we let them get any sort of a roll on.

Not sure a potential loss to the treble holders can be considered a 'banana skin' no matter how poor their current form. Especially given our record there.

Agreed, I'd have it down as our best chance for a long time to turn them over, but we mustn't be complacent, but Radford seems to have addressed that in recent games.

Maybe not a 'Banana Skin' but currently it is a games like this we should not be losing if we are wanting to be a team that challenges at the top. Huddersfield was a test of the character and a game we would have lost previously.

Leeds are still a dangerous team even with the injuries they have but its a game we should win if we play for 80mins. Its wouldn't devastation if we were to lose at Leeds but it would be a massive chance missed to beat them, further build a winning character and habit within the club.
