| A big test coming up on Friday, it's been far too long since we won at Headingley. I went into the Whino's club shop in my FC shirt on the Monday morning after that 44-28 victory back in 2006 and ordered the DVD, probably the only one they sold. I'll never forget Nathan Blacklock running into the NW corner towards the Hull fans for the final try. Oh what a night! I dined out on that one for 12 months.
We need the black 'n' white army out in force on Friday in full voice because this game is there for the taking. Time to mute that bloody south stand band once and for all. I'm off to watch my DVD.
COME ON YOU HULLAAA!

| our cup final as far as I'm concerned, been too long, cannot wait for Friday. I bet the team cannot wait with the current team spirit, the decision to rest Ellis is inspired. Radford is impressing me with his selection and rotation.
big night out in student town if we win brother.

No it wasn't! I rang them up and ordered one as well. An unforgettable night.

The really annoying thing about that DVD is there are no replays of the FC tries only the Whino's. Talk about taking your bat & ball home.

4 of those could be back against us then. Other than that they will probably have a couple of wingers and a 2nd rower out plus the over rated ward and a fringe player in walters. Pretty near full strength overall if the bottom 4 are back

| Team selection going to be interesting for this one. Hopefully Ellis will be back, imagine Radford will keep injury cards close to his chest this week.

Remember Leeds have a miracle Doctor who nursed Maguire back from his career ending injury, to enable him to return to the team within a week of Sneyd's disciplinary hearing.

| Looking at the fixtures at the start of the season Rovers (A), Warrington (H), Saints (A), Huddersfield (H) and Leeds (A) looked a tough run of games. I doubt anyone would imagine we'd win them all, yet we have a real chance now.
Leeds will come good at some point though which is a worry. Interesting to see how they get on this evening.

It's just a shame we lost Cas (H) and Widnes (A). Though we was arguably the better team v Wigan, its not a game at the start of the season you'd put down as a win.
Years of going to Headingley and not see us get a result has lead me to be pessimistic on this one. That 2006 game was fantastic, the atmosphere at the end was immense.
What year was the drawn game 10-10? 2004? I remember it chucking it down so we all stood in the South Stand (they didn't like that for some reason).

2003, a Saturday night Sky game.
I agree that our Headingley form in recent years does not bode well.

Do you know when we last won 5 in a row? Feels like a while, but might not have been.
