Out of interest, how much do they charge at City games? Or do they just sell Tiger beer at those?

My cynical mind also wonders if this is another contrived plot to squeeze our income, beer being the only revenue source which gives a cut to Hull FC. If there is a price difference for beer between City's matches and our own, it would be interesting to see if the difference is roughly equivalent to the amout per pint Pearson could expect to receive from our sales.

So as beer is the only thing we get a % rake off from we hurt Hull FC if we stop buying it. Therefor perhaps the mantra should we keep buying the beer and boycott the rest of the catering stuff?

Its a fine balance to strike, and I'm not entirely sure that the raising of the prices will result in a loss.

If you raise the price of a pint by 10%, you need more than 10% of people to stop buying the beer to result in a loss.

Whilst some people will have a set budget and will now only be able to buy 3 pints instead of 4, I imagine that the vast majority of people only buy 1 pint at a game, and as such would be unlikely not to purchase.

So its likely that the numbers sold will not be -10%, hence the SMC will make more money.

Its the same with ticket prices - lowering the price by 10% is hardly unlikely to attract 10% more fans, therefore clubs will not do it.

At football it £3.60. The price increase is because Pearson won't let MR Allam to reduce the FC kickback on beer sales from 30% to 3% as he has done for the football. Of course for the football that's a reduction in income in one of his pockets to the benefit of his other pocket.
Just remember the Licensing Laws which state you must display your prices and they must be the prices you charge. That includes the offers above the outlets. Quite alot of boards to change from football to rugby everyweek.

Allam clearly worried about the affect of deflation on the economy. Joke price for a joke product. I know the club gets a slice but it shouldn't be at the expense of its fans being ripped off. Spend a fiver in the shop (programme etc.) would be my advice. Minimise the hit on Hull but maximise it on the SMC.

Instead, buy 3 extra tickets to games over the season give to friends and family and get new people to the games.

Would be much more productive than 1 pint or a programme a week.

If only 1000 people did this it could push our average up by over 200 for the season, which could halt our numerical decline

My Hull FC means more to me than any W2NK£Rs who wants to run us into the ground, any negativity about coach, the players or useless officials.

I will instead spend the price of two pint s of beer in the club shop per match extra to what I do already and SMC can stick there beer, food and queues as far as they can get it up the spinx's posterior entrance...............

I'll be buying lottery tickets every week with my beer money. That way the money goes 100% to Hull FC and nowt to the Eygptian Mummy.

For purely selfish reasons I quite like it. Charge a tenner a pint if they like, just decreases the likelihood of me having to stand every 10 minutes to let someone out to urinate/get a round in.
