Looking at the fixtures at the start of the season Rovers (A), Warrington (H), Saints (A), Huddersfield (H) and Leeds (A) looked a tough run of games. I doubt anyone would imagine we'd win them all, yet we have a real chance now.

Leeds will come good at some point though which is a worry. Interesting to see how they get on this evening.

They must have got pretty annoyed at FC ringing up to buy them.

It's just a shame we lost Cas (H) and Widnes (A). Though we was arguably the better team v Wigan, its not a game at the start of the season you'd put down as a win.

Years of going to Headingley and not see us get a result has lead me to be pessimistic on this one. That 2006 game was fantastic, the atmosphere at the end was immense.

What year was the drawn game 10-10? 2004? I remember it chucking it down so we all stood in the South Stand (they didn't like that for some reason).

In terms of Super League games it was 2012 when we won six in a row (Wakey, Widnes, Bradford and Rovers at home, Saints and Cas away). That was March to early April and we stood 2nd in the league. Wheels came off then starting with defeat at Hudds away. After the six game run we only won three from the next eleven.

We won five in a row in 2013 but that included a Cup game (albeit at home to a Super League side in Wakefield).

Putting the time since that run into context, the try scorers during the six games were Yeaman, Sharp, McKinnon, Turner, Tickle, Manu, Lynch, Whiting, Moa, Briscoe, Seymour and Horne!

mcdermott has said tonight that only delaney has a chance of being fit from that list of injured players - might be a bit of kidology though leeds are hardly well placed to be indulging in that sort of stuff
