Quote: Chris71 "Rider I see your point but in fairness its always going to a big jump when you're no longer eligible for a discounted rate in regards to a season but that's just life really. Maybe the club could have offered people who were eligible last season for discounted passes a price halfway between the two for this year only but then where do you stop as a club?
Its a tough one as there's never been a situation like COVID in my lifetime that has affected everyone. Unfortunately the club also needs money to be able to survive and cutting prices and offering more discounts will make it more difficult for the club in terms of revenue. In a way its a bit of a catch 22 situation.
Thankfully I tend to put money away each week throughout the season as a kind of season pass savings fund for the following season so its always less of a hole and don't miss it when paying in full.
Talking of renewals does anyone know when the membership packs for those that have renewed are being sent out?'"
Good points Chris, and your rationale regarding saving says older generation rather than student
I was thinking more of a scheme which would include the unemployed, and possibly in receipt of universal credit, I personally know many of our supporters just can’t afford it, that’s probably the answer right there.
But better having a 1000 paying £100 per season, then losing them forever.
