Both coaches have just stated their understand of the rule is that the defending player can tackle the attacking player in the air.
Think they know more than me and you mate.

i didnt think you can tackle any player in the air? for safety reasons?

I thought that tackling a player in the air was a no no. Although Alibert didn;t seem to mind about it.

You can't hence the penalty.

It's been a penalty offence for years on player safety grounds. Maybe Ocker coaches have some trouble understanding SL rules? Would explain a few things.
