Other than Hall it has been horrendous this year.
Lineham - did very little in his few games.
Gaskell - just total crap.
Hood - not good enough to be a starting 9.
Minns - pointless

Whitbread - another signing from the championship.

Can not disagree we, have been signing poor players for the last 3 year and we are seeing the results of it.When \if we get our strongest 17 on the park we go ok lose 2 to 3 and we struggle We need a good clear out but we can not afford to do it

Well I couldn’t last so sorry I’ve broken my own embargo, what a dope I am for ever thinking I could keep my trap shut.
Anyway was talking earlier to a friend of mine who’s is an ex SL player and has coached bit. He’s not Wayne Bennett but he knows more than me or anyone on this forum.
So his opinion on our team.
We have too many players who are really good at training.
Hope I don’t need to explain what he means by that, I think it’s pretty obvious.

Don’t sign players who don’t improve us just because they are available.
Better to save the money and blood our own than bring in the likes of Lineham etc. |

personally I think both Gaskill and Lineham are past their sell by date but you can't knock them for experience and past record can only put it down to that and cover for injuries we need a good solid prop and leave Battye for reserve and cover and yes the young ones do have to learn and quick |
