Motu Tony against Catalans for me. Mathers may be either setting up 1-2 tries but he's letting opposition score 3-4 which outweighs his attributes.

I noticed again as soon as wood came on he was targeted heavily by bulls forwards for good yard gains. Hoping wildie or Ellis get a shout soon.

I agree, i am a fan of Wood but he may need resting and some time in the reserves to build his game.

he is useless every week. as soon as a finger is laid on him hes on the floor, he never beats the first man, and is terrible in defence.. the 3 main jobs a fullback has to do, and he cant do any. agar is living in the past, yeah hes won trophies before but that doesnt mean his place in the team should be safe week in week out. and i saw motu play in the 20s at london, a safe player but has less pace than mathers! both past it, bit of a catch 22 really

I would have taken mathers before the last two games but he's shipped points in and been a factor in losing us 4 points in the league in close games. Shame, he does try hard though and puts the effort in.
