Agreed Andrew Glover needs to get it complete asap. All Super League clubs are looking not only at our first team but our academy players too. Stop the rot

The RFL had all gone down to Cardiff lunchtime onwards on Friday, so no-one was at RFL HQ to get it completed, any other Friday it would have been done. As they were 'working' all weekend, most were probably off yesterday. My own dealings with the RFL on Friday saw an out of office reply saying they due to the MM weekend, they would be back at work on Tuesday. Today is probably the first opportunity to get Mr Glover, RFL, and O'Hara's round the table without sitting on bar stools in their hotels in Cardiff. Unfortunately the Administrators have been pro-active in the meantime, because it means big paytime for them.

well i guess we dont know which sources are reliable.... so i guess we will have to wait till it come from the horses mouth... but from what i can gather it doesnt look good.. and if it takes as longs as that link suggests to finalize it all. how many more players will have been sold and will it be worth him taking over? can he change his mind now?

We asked the RFLs Chief Media Manager - and that's the response he gave us this morning. So from his quote, the meeting has yet to be decided. I can only report on what Iv been told. If the BBC have other sources and they're told otherwise, then that's cool aswell.

If this is true then all the players will have gone before its complete.If we are selling these players to lower the debt does this not mean that the points deduction could be less.If its less than 700,000(crusaders debt) they can't take more which is what brian carney said.Might take them at same meeting as when ag officially takes over that might be why the delay.

If, as I'm lead to believe, Andrew Glover has already passed the RFLs fit &proper person test it should only take an email from Nigel Wood to ratify the sale.

Something along the lines of "Please accept this email as full and official confirmation of the RFLs approval for Mr Andrew Glover of Spirit of 1873 Group, to become owner and Chairman of Wakefield Trinity with immediate affect.

How did the Crusaders get their debt down to 700k from over 2 million, even with RFL loan?

im sure ive read that it did in crusaders case, equally buying the club off yourself for a third of the total debt, should equally count against, but hey, i cant see it!
