Agree fully with the first paragraph.He gave a far better pass to the opposition in the first half.
To remonstrate with Morton,a young player committed to the club for a longer period of time than himself,and to do it directly in front of where the vocal home support are congregated is bang out of order.
Dale Morton deserves better.Danny should know better.

To me it came across as Morton wanted to yell at Brough for that pass. Perhaps he didn't because he didn't want to have a go at a 'senior' player this soon into his career. Shocking decision by Brough though. A dummy to let their wingman get closer to Morton and a pass very few could have held on to.

Well, now we 'know' he's leaving at the end of the season, the likes of Henderson/Blaymire can rest easy. Until then, Brough can be accused of "already leaving the club in his head" or "not wanting to get injured" or "not trying now." Our 2010 scapegoat is here!

DB needs to take a bloody good look at himself. His behaviour towards Morton was just as bad as his pass - SHOCKING!

It's just part of his mad and bad competitive streak. Without it, he wouldn't be the player he is. He gets white line fever, as I once heard an Aussie describe it (nice off the pitch, but once he crosses the white line, a different person). I'm sure it was all fine afterwards.

Agreed, i'm sure Dales "got over it" Crap pass Danny but its all part of the game.

It's what he did all game last week as well. Moaned about everyone when he was having a shocker himself. Needs to put his hands up when he makes a mistake and encourage the young lads

Yeah end of the day, it was a bad pass and if Broughy thinks that Morton needs chivvying up then fair enough. Im sure Morton can take it, this is RL not netball.

Is it my memory or wasn't his sin-binning for (trying to) stop a try and get his defence back onside after a break. A professional foul like that is much better than a penalty for dissent.

I'm not condoning Danny's berating of Morton after that poor pass but I think there was a little bit of pent up anger towards Dale from a couple of minutes earlier.

In an attempt to get out of out 20m Danny put a deft and well measured crossfield kick in which should have been collected by Morton. Had he collected it he was in space and who knows but he fumbled the kick putting us back under pressure.

Fast forward to Brough getting caught in two minds about the pass and the eventual knock on and Danny boy let loose at Morton.

Not the done thing and on reflection I'm sure Danny will kick himself for his poor execution but these things happen!
