At the meeting a couple of weeks ago A.G. stated that
5000 members wont confirm SL licence, but without the membership we definitely wouldnt get a licence.
My understanding is that with ground improvements and 1873 club, we will be no worse than a 'B' category club and pretty close to an 'A'. |

Most other clubs twigged the membership wheeze a long time before we did - it should really have been done ages ago, so that box was firmly ticked come franchise decision time. Because it wasn't, we're playing catch-up.
Didn't the Dulls launch theirs when we played them at Odslum towards the end of last season? I recall it, as it was one of the worst Wakey performances in a season punctuated by bloody awful performances. |
