Failing that......is there anything stopping everyone who has the clubs financial interest at heart.....backing up what they are saying on here and popping along to the club shop and buying a season ticket at £150 and then make a 'donation' of £50 to the club?
Sounds simple really if you really want to do your bit to help......
As many well off fans as there may be, there will be a bigger majority who are skint and will struggle to even afford at the low price......which is why they have to remain pretty low for me.....don't outprice the majority too quickly!!
The club has used the model of stack them high (tickets) and sell them cheap for the London and Catalan games, and it worked, attendances were up considerably.
So, stack them high and sell them cheap....£150....? or change tac slightly...
what if the club charged £200 for an adult season ticket and offered a 'buy one get one half price' deal, would this be a worthwhile model? it would effectively be creating two season ticket holders at £150 each and all the additional revenue that a fan puts into the club in terms of merchandise and match day revenue?
