| £150 this year, £180 next year, rising to full market price, probably about £210 for what will (hopefully) be our first season at Newmarket. Jump ther price too quickly and many will just not renew.
Oh and give people enough time to make the most of the offers!!

I agree with the stepped price change as above, and also the comment about giving people time to take the offer, or even a little bit of warning that they were going to do it.
For example, they could have announced it on Monday, but used the dates of the Challenge Cup QF and SF as the dates you had to buy between, that way people have a (tiny) bit more warning to sort out their money, and there's also some 'key' events to trigger people to buy, it could even be seen as an aspirational motivator i.e. just think we could be playing in these next year.
Or announcing the offer now but having the dates as the first two weeks after the end of the 'standard' season i.e. the £150 tickets go on sale at 6pm Sunday 8th September after the match against Castleford, and are on sale for two weeks. This gives people time to save money and also it means that the club isn't trying to compete with the summer holiday spending season.
Sorry for the waffley answer to what is a fairly simple question, but I work in marketing and once I started thinking about it, it tumbled out, I could have waffled more but thought I'd best stop there.

When i suggested £200 + it was more about keeping STs in line with other SL clubs, the majority of which i would guess at more than £200.
The club is a victim of its own success as far as the discounted STs are conserned, i hope we can afford it.

At the outset of the discounted tickets offer the club will have sat down and gone through the finances with a fine tooth comb and worked out all eventualities, thus ensuring that a robust 3-4 year plan was in place and they had enough financil leeway to be able to withstand any losses without serious detriment to the company and ensure the growth of the club.
They would have done that wouldn't they......?

Glover himself has said this has cost him more money than he expected, i would imagine that when AG sat down and worked out his sums, he would have only had JE to rely on for a lot of the info to base his maths on.
This may be simplistic view, but it would explain if we are in a hole and AG has no more money to put in, why we are.

| I went for the 200+ option purely because I am fortunate enough to be able to afford to pay that, and am sick of the constant rumours of financial problems which always surround the club, the latest of which are no doubt in some respects due to the previously low ticket prices we have had not been sustainable.
However, it's all about getting the balancing act right between pricing and numbers to make it work over the medium to longer term.
I think the price should be 175 quid minimum for Adults, but work on getting additional benefits for Gold Members -ones that people are going to derive some value from.
Finally, more realistic deadlines should be set for acceptance of offers on the deals, so that all fans have the same opportunity to take advantage.

| I don't know the answer to this so can someone help me.
How many season tickets did we generally sell in previous seasons and what was the cost of a ground season ticket back then?

| i'd love to know who voted for the bottom option.
They must obviously want us to continue to struggle financially.

| It's all about achieving the maximum income for the club.
Having more supporters on board who in turn will buy a replica shirt and a couple of pints on matchday plus spend some cash in the shop(s), is preferable to where we were a few seasons ago.
Having said that, endless cheap tickets devalue the "product" so for me, we should keep stepping the price upwards, until we are back at full price.
The last thing that we want is for a jump back to full price and scare half of our fans away.
IMO the club are missing a trick.
If they offered the a reduced ticket for members of the 1873 club, there would certainly be an increased uptake for membership.
