| So far, we've played one of the strongest teams in the Championship and an 'unknown' and from 6 potential points we've managed to achieve 6 with a negative points difference of 6; so all is not lost.
The remaining games are against teams that we should and CAN beat and, that said, BEAT EASILY.
So, what JD needs to do is instill into the squad that they cannot afford to concede any points at all - especially against Championship 1 teams. We need to, and can, generate an awesome points difference.
So let's get on with the business and deliver what the fans and supporters know can be delivered.
Nothing less than 100% should be tollerated.

| Toulouse have South Wales at home and the TBA arranged game against the Skolars. I think they'll beat the Scoropions in their own back yard comfortably, the crucial game for me could be the one against the Skolars in London. That's an interesting one. Hopefully Batley will do us a favour and beat them at Mount Unpleasant by a greater winning margin that they beat us.
Hopefully we can build some confidence and fine tune our game against less fancied teams in Oldham and Rochdale.

| What happened against Batley and Toulouse was predictable and reflects our experience following the last promotion.
We still have a good few players who need to get up to the speed and intensity of this division; training is one thing but game time is essential. We need the ex SL players to lead the way and bring the rest of the team with them. I still think that we won't see the true team until after our first league games.
On paper we should beat both Rochdale and Oldham but games are played on grass. I don't think for a moment that either of those sides will just lay down. We need, and I hope we will get, intense games.
At the moment we don't look fully fit and appear to need more mental toughness, but it's possible to cure both with more game time.

| After this weekend's results it looks as though we should make it but need to rack-up a substantial points-difference in our two remaining games which should, hopefully leave our pool as follows with us scraping-in in fourth place:
Featherstone - 12
Batley - 9
Halifax - 9
Cougars - 9
Toulouse - 8
Dewsbury - 6
South Wales - 5
Rochdale - 3
Oldham - 2
London - 0

| Personaly I think if we win our games now it should be enough
I can see both games being tough but I think we should get 9 points
I think Fev and Batley will go through
Then for me it all depends on the Batley V Toulouse game, I think for us our best chance is if Touluse beat Batley as the frencies wont lose to London and South Wales so for the to get 3rd and finaly Batley to lose to Fev
Like I say the Batley Toulouse game is key what will be bad is if Toulouse lose and pick up a bonus point if thats the case I really feel we will be out

Toulouse have got a fixture backlog. They are still in the French Cup and have French League games to play. They play Limoux tomorrow(Wednesday) in a French Cup Quarter-Final before playing Batley on Saturday.
The danger to Keighley could be South Wales Scorpions who could beat London Skolars at home, pick up a bonus point at Rochdale and beat Toulouse who may rest players for the fixture if they have nothing to play for. This would give the Scorpions 9 points.

as long as we tonk london, asuming we lose to Fev (which is no given) by only a few points. we will finish with a plus 100 points diff and 9 points.
Fax will finish top or second.

| Without taking any bonus points into account then, unless I've missed some fixtures, and assuming that the outstanding fixtures go as follows:
Skolars v Toulouse – Toulouse - 3
South Wales v Rochdale – South Wales - 3
Skolars v Halifax – Halifax - 3
Toulouse v South Wales – Toulouse - 3
Cougars v Oldham – Cougars - 3
Featherstone v Batley – Featherstone -3
Dewsbury v Rochdale – Dewsbury – 3
then it looks like the final positions will be:
Featherstone – 12
Halifax – 10
Batley – 9
Cougars – 9
Toulouse – 8
South Wales – 6
Dewsbury – 6
Skolars – 3
Oldham – 3
Rochdale – 0
and that 9 points will be enough, but I stand to be corrected.
