| This has the potential to be a great offer. Even for those who can't make the game every week you will save money so pledge to the Cougars. Well done to all involved at the club for this offer. Cougars on the up!

| That's a cracking deal - if enough sign up, you only really have to be able to get to a measly four home games and you've pretty much got your money back!
Here's hoping enough sign up by the deadline..

| Sorry if I sound pedantic but what is the actual deadline date?
Is it November 30th or December 31st?

| This needs to be as advertised as possible to get 999+ season tickets. Is there going to be a press release? T&A/KN etc.
£60 is a great price, but I can't see that many getting sold without a decent marketing campaign.
Will still be calling up to get mine though, just hope its only £60!

Agreed.
However we can do our bit by promoting it ourselves. Tell friends, tell families, tell colleagues.
One of the really clever things about this scheme is it empowers us all to spread the word because it's in everyone's interests to get the price down for ourselves.
Well done to all at the club for the idea. Is it worth having regular updates on Facebook, Twitter and on here to see how we're doing?

| Although I don’t ‘twitter’ myself, there was an interesting article in this week’s ‘League Express’ about the use of Twitter.
It relates to the way in which ‘tweets’ are made and the standardisation of hashtags and how these were identified, especially on the Twitter homepage which shows a 'trending' list of the top ten things that people are twittering about.
A key comment in the article was‘Many individuals and organisations have already exploited Twitter to become better known, building up thousands of ‘followers’ to track their ‘tweets’.
But sporting organisations have been relatively slow to utilise this new form of media, particularly in England.’'"
There are other comments including League Express agreeing to include a ‘Tweet of the Week’ in their ‘Highlights of the week’ on Page 3.
So why don’t the Cougars take another lead and ask our supporters to use a standard hashtag when they tweet? How about:
#RLCougars
Anyone from the Club interested in agreeing a standard format for all Cougar fans to use?

simpsons/simp048.gif I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

In this case i think they've missed a trick......I for one can't afford, in the current climate, to pay £60 out just before xmas and then live in hope that i dont have to pay another £60 out if we dont sell 400 season tickets.
Why not extend the date to first week of January and let everyone spend there xmas money on one??
Just a thought.

| Think breaking down paying for season tickets should be a general thing anyway each season, on direct debit £30.00 per month starting in October doesnt hurt as much. I would definitely then get one each time. Am glad we have put the offer on though. See how it fairs. A banner placed here and there with the promotion would be good. Get families to sponsor a banner, e.g. The Knowles family wish Cougars all the best, then details of cougars etc If the banners are about £50.00 would people sponsor??
