Does anybody know when the Rugby League Authorities will shed any light on how many go up/down?

Bearing in mind that at the moment there are 11 teams in the Championship, and 10 in Championship 1. Then Widnes are going to Super League and Toulouse are going back to France, that would leave 9.

No decision as far as im aware has been made on which division Crusaders will be playing in.

Can i only assume that the RL authorities will wait till play off final day at best? As they seem to leave all decisions until the last minute?

As I mentioned in a previous topic I am not convinced that even when we get promoted this season that its certain due to incompetence shown by past and more recent events in particular the crusaders debacle.

I would like to think the rfl have been harassed by the clubs to ensure the rules are same as already.

This is not about conspiracies but I believe folk are possibly sleepwalking into another mess decided at end of season.

Lets assume crusaders continue in some form or other to keep interest in rugby league put crusaders in championship 1 so there can be a localish derby. God lnows where they would play from probably bridgend again or a pub cat park.

Do we know if club have asked rfl questions about the position.

Using this logic then can I assume we should therefore be automatically promoted to the Championship irrespective of how we do in the play-offs because we'll get more derby games?

Seriously though, as the relegated team, Crusaders should take Widnes' place in the Championship should they stay in business.

That leaves the how do we replace Toulouse conumdrum. Personally I reckon the Championship 1 Winners and Grand Final winners will go up, 1 team will be relegated from the Championship. The numbers will be made up in Championship 1 by a couple of new expansion teams.

Should Crusaders go out of business, a team in the Championship is going to get a reprieve.

Fair point Stealth but am not convinced due to the fact nothing has been confirmed at this late stage regardless of Crusaders situation. Surely by asking for clarification can do no harm.

It really is well , disgraceful is the word , we are the afterthought of RL , we get whatever leftovers the RFL have after sorting out SL and the grass roots investement and amateurs

Do you have an independent supporters association/trust ?

I'm a lazy bugger , so once again , can anybody point me in the way of a Cougars supporters assoc/trust ?
