| Damned good entertainment tonight... I thought AJ, Guess Who Catfink were on great form. Good to see some old faces and places..
The Cougrrrs were much better than I last saw them and although they were beaten tonight, Toulouse are beatable and I would imagine that the lads should pick up a couple of points from them throughout the season. I felt the turning point was the stinker of a mistake the ref made when the French guys stripped the ball and he awarded a knock on. Cougrrrs had the momentum at the time IMO.
Great to see beer on the terraces - good to see the props used properly up close & excellent to close the game with a debate whether to order a curry or a pizza.
Oh and by the way - thank you for demonstrating what I think was one of the best 40-20's Ive ever seen.
I look forward to the next home game.
Well done the Cougrrrs and congratulations on some excellent decision making both on and off the pitch

| Bad kicking from danny, lazy last tackles two reasons why we lost tonight! Danny needs to grow his hair back and become rambo jones again!
Good game from the lads just a few mistakes they need to iron out.

It was more like a 30-10 kick.
Also George Raynor's try at the start of the second half was pure class.
However it masked a few things I cant get away from.
Tackling, extremely poor, Ryan Benjafield didn't even bother trying for one of their tries. For all his undoubted qualities Jonny Presley is getting exposed time and again by bigger players running down his centre channel.
Discipline, we look like an uncontrollable rabble at times, far too many cheap penalties given away. It's inviting pressure on us unnecessarily. Gavin Duffy was rightly berating the team under the sticks after we'd conceded after giving cheap field position away.
We should have beat these tonight and we can only blame ourselves for not doing so.

Agreed, however a marked improvement on the week before.
One of their tries was a walk over but through a pityful defensive effort. One has to play on the positives though - Toulouse are beatable and thus so must others be. 500 made quite a bit of noise tonight - the last time I watched the Cougrrrs at home was witnessed by season ticket holders who had wished they had purchased shares in Woolworths...
Its all about the league and reducing the deficit (Points) this season and not entertaining meaningless silverware.

| Positives? Well, I thought our attacking play was getting there, but their defence looked pretty good.
Negatives? Converting tries (or not) is going to lose us games and bonus points, defence needs tightening up especially for the last tackle.
But I'm sure Bazza has noticed these things!!!

| We're not a million miles off, but I'm not convinced we can bridge the gap quickly enough to make an impact.
Toulouse will be one of the bottom 3 or 4 this year, and we need to be taking points off them and the likes of Sheffield and Featherstone, who are probably better than Toulouse.
