Just to let you know the Carnegie Challenge Cup tie against Toulouse at home will be played on Saturday 6th March K/O 6pm.

It's because of the away team's travel arrangements.
Because many players/fans have work commitments, playing the game on the Sunday would mean that they would be unable to get to work for the Monday.
It's exactly the same for the games in Toulouse, they're Saturday night kick offs so players and fans can get down to them.

Shouldn't be allowed to play in the competition for starters, then having to play on a saturday night ( joke). I have football commitments on saturday. Home team should state when the game is played. Rant over.

| We should decide day and time, its not our problem if french cant get to work, they are usually on strike anyway 
In every game this season we must use whatever adavantage we can and this is a prime example of chance missed.

| The league game is on a Saturday as well.
If the club market it well as a decent value alternative to Saturday night entertainment we could get a decent crowd in. Get flyers up and around the town and make it out to be some kind of international match.
I know there were a lot of local fans of Super League clubs  came down for the Pia game last year. And with Fax playing on the Sunday a few of their fans might come over. |

Hi
Yes your season ticket is valid for the 1st round of the Challenge Cup.
Apologies for the game having to be played on Saturday, but our hands are tied there and i thought 6pm k/o would be better so that those that worked or played amateur could make it and still have enough of the evening left to go out afterwards, plus some of our players work Saturday mornings too.
If it doesn't work we will look to change it.
