I cant believe it, you would have thought that they would have let us know, but as a reader of readers digest i think they would have told us that they were going into administration, surely they knew before it actually happened. I think the chairman is to blame he has got a lot to answer for....

But hopefully, he'll have more grace than to continue to rub people's noses in it and expect them to like it. And your post says more about an attitude to customers, i.e. paying supporters, than I could ever ascribe to a previous chairman.

If the chairman had told investors, sponsors, advertisers and customers that finances were sound and they were able to invest in new writers, designers and technology to be successful in the electronic world.....

If people went out and started buying subscriptions.....

If a couple of weeks after, the company collapsed......

Then yes he would have a lot to answer for ..... any more silly questions ..... or are you already hiding under your bridge?
