Keighley Cougar Cubs Under 18's v Barrow Laikers. Kick off 8pm.

The U18's will be looking for a swift return to winning ways as they press on with their fight for a playoff place. They require other results to go in their favour, but the best they can do is win the remaining 6 games & the Keighley fans can do their bit by getting down to support the lads.

The remaining games are:
Fri 12th Feb: Barrow Laikers H KO 8pm
Sun 21st Feb: Ince Rose Bridge A 1.30pm
then Rearranged games v:
Sheffield home & away
Barrow Laikers away
Saddleworth home

Keighley Cougars have decided that the Under !8s cannot play at Cougar Park because they might spoil the pitch for Sundays game .

With TWO DAYS NOTICE FFS!!

We are looking for an alternative venue.

It would do the pitch good.

Get football off that wrecks it.

I hope Jack Frost doesn't spoil it.

So how come they let silsden play football on the pitch before the whitehaven game which was only 24 hours before they played, that is double standards the people at the club make the rules up as they go along.

Once again the cubs have been treated like rubbish. My view is sod cougars, sod cougar park and play all u18's home games from now on at Utley, where i kind of expect what should have been fridays game to be played on sunday.

Cougars clearly dont care about the cubs from u8's to u18's. And its been like that for the last 3 or 4 years.

I was going to the worky game on sunday. dont think I will bother now.

Thats a real stinker.

hey presto no problem. play all you want !
After all the man who took cougars 2001 into extinction is still there and he's an albion man, so is one of the new guys (cougars 2010)
So just go with the flow.

Or, find a new venue and keep your identity and dignity.

Well i look at it this way,if u18s cannot play at Cougar Park on Friday,Silsden fc should
not play their game on Saturday. Sooner Silsden go the better.

Like I said, We, the cubs, should play all our u18's home games at Utley from now on. At least we know then weather we can or cant play.

And the bar takings?. That would be Cougars loss & The Shoulders gain. Like it has been with the rest of the cubs teams, mine included which are the under 9's & 10's.

Silsden are away on saturday. And I agree with what you say, & I live in silsden.

I understand that an approach is being made to Bradford Bulls to have the game played as a Curtain Raiser to their home game versus St Helens (first team) on Sunday.
