What a silly result for 2 sides in the top 6. Whats the deal with Leigh and their non quota signings if they come up? Will they have to let most of their team go?

I genuinely think if I was coaching Leigh they would have exactly the same amount of wins

I suppose it’ll come down to who he has to release from his stable of “all stars”,he gets it right they’ll stay up with ease next season,providing of course they get promoted in the first place.

It’s odd to say but they will probably be weaker next season than they are this season despite the fact they will more than likely playing in SL.

It’s a massively flawed system that allows them to recruit so many overseas players to gain promotion.

I’d go so far as to say they are currently playing to the level of a top 6 SL side but I don’t see them achieving that next season.

There is something wrong with the system when the team going up will have to weaken itself by shedding overseas players. Even so Leigh may have the strength to stay up if they do not stumble at the last.

Crowd of 2744 isn't brilliant - guess you could argue lopsided contests aren't a great draw.

As I understand it they have Lam, Ipape, Ferguson, Asiata and Macdonald contracted, so they would be choosing 2 from Aekins, Hitchcox, Amone, Stone, Ioane, Hingano and Inu. All are OOC, as is Kai O'Donnell but he has a British passport so wouldn't count were he to sign, I don't think he will have any problems getting picked up at SL level though.

Lot of rumours about Nene Macdonald moving to Leeds so maybe one more space available.

They have signed a number of English players for next season that haven't been announced but I know of a couple of their English players leaving for SL so they still have a bit of work to do.

Kai is still non-fed, but he is going back to OZ along with Aekins and Stone. Anyway SFW, Who are the 2 English players leaving for SL?
