| When your wife isn't a rugby league fan and visits Wembley under protest to keep you happy and Tomkins scores his try, I turn round and see her bouncing round like a mentalist and has tears in her eyes when Lockers raises the Challenge Cup before driving us home so I was able to have a few beers on the big day
Yep, Carlsberg did my day yesterday!

| Despite what the neutrals say there was no better feeling than seeing Sam go over the try line in the last minute at wembley in front of all the Wigan fans to seal the win, wouldn't have had it any other way.

| 1st time I've taken my 10yr old son to Wembley and it was a real Dad & lad day. I'll never forget it. He blew that blinking air horn at everybody he saw in black & white in the build up on Wembley way, was amazed when we went into the ground and thoroughly enjoyed the game. When lockers lifted the trophy he said 'thanks for bringing me Dad, I love ya'!
Carlsberg indeed!!

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Despite the weather and the quite poor game, I enjoyed the day far more than 2011. The Tomkins try is the finish most fans dream of the night before the game. I think alcohol probably played a part in it too

| Another Lad and Dad day here even though my lad is now 19. This is what you get if you introduce them to the game young enough! We have been to many big matches together such as Murrayfield and though he was unlike me, not born in Wigan he is as committed as Warriors fan as you could meet.
I had a sleepless night beforehand due to eating something dodgy I think so was looking pale feeling pretty rough driving down to park at Stanmore at the crack of dawn.
Me and my son arrived just before 9am and so did as we did in 2011 and headed off into London. I went for broke due to being starving and had the full English breakfast and thank God I felt better after that. Had a wander round Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and down to Westminster despite the rain.
I have seen comments about the low attendance but in town there were hoards of Wigan and Hull fans all over the place.
Then caught the tube back up to Wembley just in time for the gates opening. Bumped into the bloke who sits at the end of our row in the DW, my son bumped into some people he knows from his days as a Scout and I even managed to tag the bloke sat in front of me as someone who I thought might contribute to Mike's Wigan message board so introduced myself and he was!
Was expecting to be drenched sat in row two but only a few drops of rain found their way in despite the down poor. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and all this "it was a poor game" talk just never enters your head when you are there. We even ended up on telly caught by the cameras!
