| Just got back and well what can I say? They were never in it.
A comprehensive win over a top side and a great team performance. We can still improve as well as Madge said on GMR afterwards, we forced the odd pass and made a few mistakes but despite the odd error we were in total control for at least 70mins I'd say.
Sam deserved his MoM but I was very impressed with Mossop and Prescott. The pack was very good as unit with Lima being very good again and Hoffman great but I thought these two young players made great yards and really ran it in hard. A pleasure to watch.
Fielden must be wondering where he is going to get a game! Earlier in the season I'd have put money on either Mossop or Prescott being rested for Stu but I reckon on current form Coley needs to look out. Not that he is doing anything wrong but he's going to have to go some to keep his spot if Fielden does well in training.

I still think we have another gear or two to go up yet, which is frightening. Our defence has started to show how ruthless we can be when on song (like last season).

| Agree with DaveO. Prescott and Mossop, wjo let's remember was running great lines as a 2nd rower last year and is still on 22 ! So when Fielden is back it has to be Coley for me who is dropped. His error rate ... gonna be hit with 'Bilko Stats' now ... just seems to high. Every match 'not square', or Poor PTB penalties against 'old Andy'... Even Lima seems to be stepping up !

| Very good tonight.
I agree about Fielden and what a fight he faces to get a place back but can't see Coley as the man under most pressure. He was immense last week at Saints and his stats for that game were crazy good.
As it stands I think he's struggling for a place tbh unless one of the 4 loses form or gets injured. I can't believe I'm saying that because I'm a big fan of Fielden.

It's taken a while but I think we are starting to look more like last seasons team. I don't think we did for the first half of the season.
If as seems obvious we are gong to persist with Sam at 1 then I was really pleased to see that Micky Mac and TL are sharing the hooking. So will someone please put Deacon in a padded cell betwen games? He is a key player as having him at 7 lets s have the two hookers.

I think what you are saying about the errors are what could cost Coley his place but at the same time I agree with NickyKiss about his stats and work rate. He is a player who benefited immensely from a change of coach IMO but could only do so if he got with the program and he did.

| Coley turns up in big games so I couldn't drop him even if he has some quiet weeks. He'll be in there and firing when we play Wire and I can't wait for that one.
With the options we have in the pack I think we should rotate the players anyway and keep them fresh.

| I think he replaces Prescott, made a few errors tonight and gave away 2-3 penalties, cant see Madge being too happy with it, however he worked hard and took it in well

| The only point I was worried last night was when Carmont took a knock and it looked like he might have injured a knee, he was looking in bad shape (he then ran it off, which was ridiculous, but that's typical Carmont!).
I dread to think what would happen if Carmont was injured. We'd lose probably the best centre in the comp at the moment but given our lack of cover in that position already we would be in a very weak position.
We should all pray for George to stay in good shape till the end of the season (he's more likely to re-sign if he's injury free too!).
Other than that worry, last night was superb stuff. If we continue playing at the level of the last two matches I am convinced we will win the SL and the cup. The challenge will be to keep this level of insenity up, all our players are firing now (except Deacs, who I'm sure will have sorted out his butter fingers by next week!).
Dave mentioned Mossop and Prescott - these lads are immense talents, different styles of play which compliment each other. Prescott just seems to do one thing, which is run straight and fast with a very strong leg drive and he can keep doing that for me until the end of his career. Mossop is a bit more of an elusive runner (did anyone else notice his footwork for his try?) but again very strong and keeps driving when tackled. Both are very strong in defence. Long term we can build a dominant pack around these two lads.

i'd be really disappointed if prescott or mossop are replaced, they make such good yards and run the ball so hard, good young players who deserve to keep their spot in the team

| is there only me that thinks Fielden should not walk straight back into this team??? Coley made a couple of errors but his tackling was solid last night , he is very consistent for me. Also at Saints the previous week he was immense. Fielden needs to earn his place back, you cant drop one player after months of decent performances. No one has a right to the shirt and a starting place.
Prescott and Mossop were superb last night , our pack plays better than any pack in the league as a unit.

| I notice nobody has suggested Lima being replaced, I wonder why that is.
he was superb again last night and made more metres than any other forward, particularly in that first stint.
