I can't see anything other than a massive England win, looking at those teams.

Other than a team bonding exercise. I can't really see any great benefits to this game.

England certainly aren't going to be tested, and neither will they have to play any great attacking rugby to break France's line.

An England Under 23s would have been a better idea from a competitive angle!

Playing a team like this would be more interesting and a bigger test for england IMO. it was a quick write down so i will have missed some out.

I think you are right really. It would also be far more competative with a bigger build up to the game. Players on either side will be playing against team mates from their club adding come spice.

We could play england v SL XIII mid way through the season..then have the france game before we go to australia.

And to be fair to each team have only one overseas player from each SL club. even add overseas championship players to make the 17 up..players like Catic.

That's probably what the Aussie fans think when England play Australia.

It's good to see more variety in the England squad than the Saints/Leeds team that played in the world cup, looking forward to seeing Burgess play hes been nothing short of sublime in the NRL this season.

I agree.

England versus 90% of a team rank bottom of Super League and only interested in a Challenge Cup Semi Final.

England by 50

How long is it since there have been more Wigan players than Saints in an international?
