It's getting beyond a joke now. There are hardly any threads that don't have at least one post from a non Wigan fan.


From the ironic "You're not famous anymore" (so I will prove my point by posting on YOUR board) , the patronising "The trouble with Wigan player A is......." or the simply provocative "Person X is a muppet", they are taking over the forum.


A shame really as the idea of "RLfans" is not a bad one, quite interesting to see other fans views on other boards, the reality though is that it no longer is a viable option for people who would just like to talk about their club and not have to wade through the anti-Wigan rubbish that infests every thread.

I don't mind some of the posters.
Saint Simon, Billinge Lump, Red Vee etc sometimes have a go yes , but they are always open to debate and are reasoned.

I think we should look closer to home if we want to ban numpties.

You are correct, some of them are fine but too many just take over the board.

The point I am making is that it has become increasingly difficult to have a discussion with other Wigan supporters on this board without a fan of another club sticking their twopennyworth in.

An apposite post from an apposite poster - you're not shy of getting stuck into the Saints fans over on their board from time to time, and yet they seem to harbour a soft spot for you nontheless.

"Wire on tour"...on the Wigan board it would appear...

These boards are part of a network. Thats what RLFans has been for the past ten years I've been on here. Some people like it that way, others don't but there are other choices out there.

These Wire fans have come on here to gloat. Fair play to them I say, many Wigan fans would be doing the same had we won the cup semi.

I could shut them up easily if I wished but I take it as a compliment to the stature of our proud club every time someone comes on our board to gloat.

If any step too far I'm sure our mods will pick up on that.
