Good Morning
My friend is a journo on the MEN and he's been told this morning to attend a press conference at 13.00 today at the Wigan Oak Hotel called by Ian Lenagan.
Any ideas what it might be?

Two possibilities but have no info if it is ether or both of these:
Response to the Hock situation.
Noble's future at the club (latest rumour I have seen being 1 more year by mutual consent then new coach for 2011).

My mate needs to make capy this afternoon and we fancy going for a couple of pints that's all so were wondering if any of you can give us a heads up so he's not sat at his computer all afternoon. It's a pretty nice day and there's a beer garden calling.
It's not the Hock thing because he hasn't had his hearing yet and he doesn't think it's about Noble.

It would surely be an unusual thing to do, to call a press conference on a Tuesday unless it was something fairly important?
As someone else said, it's probably too early for decisions to be made about Hock, and would extending Noble's contract by one year really merit a special press conference? Maybe, but it seems odd - unless IL wants to put a firm line under this 'Nobby unhappy' story.
