| Anyone planning to go to Wembley for the CC Final should seriously check the timetables. With it being a Bank Holiday week-end railtrack have decided this will be a good time to carry out major engineering work. Was thinking of going down Sat morn and coming home Sun afternoon but have now realised the only simple alternative is to book on a coach. One never ceases to be amazed by anything in this country.

| We tend to drive down and stay in one of the hotels in North Acton. Not the best area, but it's easy to get to by car as it's right at the foot of the M40, the hotels have parking facilities, and Covent Garden is something like 20 mins away on the tube.

| Why are Rail Track doing still doing engineering works on the WCML? I thought it was finished.
Anyway there is the option to fly? BMI do Manchester to Heathrow and then it's a quick hop on the airport express to the Centre of London.
Be warned though.. It's a f*cking scary plane!
£33 & £35 flights

| Lothlorian, if you can get to Euston for 6.00pm there is a train which gets you back in Wigan for 11.13pm changing at Birmingham and Manchester if you miss that the only other option is 20.55 from St Pancrass via Sheffield where you have an 8hr wait getting back in Wigan 10.11am Sunday morn so hope you enjoy it.

They always plan it because believe it or not that is the best time to do it, however someone should have seen that there is a pretty good chance 2 north west teams will be in the final, but I suppose that would have meant using some common sense.
If we do get to the final we will be staying at my Wifes Dad's house in Northwood which is just a 20 min journey away from Wembley on the Met line.

Why would you want to travel all that way to watch a Warrington v Saints challenge cup final ?
Its a nice touch though that your thinking of travelling down to cheer us on against Saints, fair play.

Are neutrals not allowed at finals now? Or are you and Saints going to find the 40,000 fans each yourselves? [size(I know you were being stupid btw)[/size
