He is definitely leaving. It was confirmed by the man himself last night at the Riversiders End of Season Dinner. A special presentation was made to him and a glowing tribute to him from Shaun Wane. Same, by the way, for Finchy, Tommy and Jeff. They will all be missed.

Carmont looked as good last night as I've ever seen him play. He looks like he's easily got another season in him, and will be missed big time next season.

That happens in so many games though. He starts hobbling, sometimes quite badly, the physio comes on, gives the thumbs up and within a few minutes he's scored a try. Then he hobbles again, then the coach takes another player off rather than Carmont and he ends up finishing the game.

I understand there's listening to a player saying he's alright in early season, but in such a critical time of the year we can't afford any key players injured. He took Sam and Lockers off but kept him on, daft if you ask me

I'd be worried if he wasn't hobbling at some point during a game!
