Could have been worse - the names Child and Hicks come to mind. Expect some odd video ref referrals and other stoppages in the second half as he starts to run out of puff.

Shame it isn't Bentham again, he murdered Widnes last week. Shame he blotted his copybook by ignoring their quarterbacks infringement at the end but you can't have it all.

The referee against Saints that didn't give us one penalty in the whole game was Thaler, some years ago in his early days. I would guess it's a record and obviously cemented his place as a Super League ref.

No that was Bentham and his son wearing the Bradford shirt when we played Bradford. He got angry when we took photos of them in the lounge.

I saw Steve G with his son in a Saints top. Paddock said to him after the game "you not going for a drink"-he said no-Paddocks response was thats the best decision you've made all day.

He had given us one penalty and spanked us for 11. Saints hammered us not surprisingly

And I've seen Russell Smith's son at games over here when he first arrived wearing a London Broncos jersey on more than one occasion. Was he good to us?
