Yes, Dave and JuJu out as feared. Colbon and Cook in though...hope they're fit rather than making up the numbers.

Still, we have been known to spring a surprise when we've been down on numbers (that great win over Leeds at home springs to mind) but this does look like a tall order.

Let's get behind the boys and see if we can inspire a whole-hearted 80 mins. Will be difficult as I fear the atmos will be as flat as a witches t*t (we never get any extras for Hudds games and the blimmin travel disruption isn't going to help...how unlucky can we get with our home fixtures?)

The forwards pretty much speak for themselves with Melling deputy hooker Cook or Golden in for Rodney with Krasniqi and Cook/Golden on the bench. But the backs look interesting - is this Powell's chance to be bold or try something new and which one to drop.

I agree we do need two props on the bench for this one. You cant tell me that we are that short of props we are unable to put one more on the bench with Krasniqi. Thomas must be fit as he played for Skolars the other week.

If Cook dont past his fittness test then that means Bolger in squad for him i take it... Melling should go in as back up hooker unless Powell plans to play Randall for the full 80 mins (god forbin he do that).

Hows this for a out there on planet Mars idea. move Robertson to FB have Caro on wing with Colbon inside him, then move Dorn to the bench as back up hooker (im sure he can made some runs from DH with his speed). then that leave Melling to play 2nd row or LF............

As for me i wont be at this game to be slapped round the head by my fellow fans for such crazy ideas, as i will be in spain. but my problem then is do i tune into the game or just go out for a meal,check the scores on FB or here then if going from bad to worse it gives me a reason to order more wine and brandy...

I know it was after i posted it that i saw that flaw in it. but maybe if hes on bench and comes on he be defending in middle with others(not that means anything with the way teams cut though us in middle), but at least hes not the last line of defence.
