| Please can someone re assure me that we have some mid field and outside backs coming through the ranks that firstly show a bit of spirit and secondly a bit of talent. In 3 years I could count the times I have seen a Quins player beat his opposite number with skill (NOT Clubb brainless brawn) on one hand.
I also watch the Union team occasionally, they have shown more spirit and greater talent and hence have reached a European Cup final.
Quins RL is now the YAWN. Not the Union team.
Select the youth NOW and put talentless hulks in the pack. How can we select that cannot pass?
Wingers that cannot beat a man one on one and halfbacks without vision.
If they have the talent and the desire then oust the talentless and let us enjoy the game again.
Select YOUTH. They cannot be any worse...

| Living in Aldershot I get to see the youngsters a little more than most I suspect. We do have some good players coming though and some may well make a few appearances this season. However we need to keep expectations of what they are capable of in check. They are young and inexperienced, they are not miracle workers. They will be making a big step up and will need to prove themselves again at that level. You get the odd youngster, mainly from the Burgess family it seems, who can step up and look as though they have been playing top level for years. For most it takes a little longer. The flip side is that throwing in youngsters into a, badly, losing side isn't always the greatest for their long term development. The older lags amongst us will remember Olu Iwenofu and Yusuf Sozi. Two who should have done better in Superleague than they did.

| Agree that Dorn is the exception.
Clubb's has one attribute (brawn) and that does not help any other backs, he cannot pass, is too slow and cannot defend. I don't hate him, he is just not a back.
Put him in the pack with the other useless "centre" that went awol against Wigan.
If Pryce had a heart in proportion to his size then he would be a world beater, unfortunately he doesn't.
Neither looked interested at Wigan, even in the warm up....
Calderwood runs/jogs like a stiff old man and could not get anywhere near Tomkins for pace when chasing back.
Melling and JO'C seem to atleast try. Promote the talented youth, what have we got to lose?
