London
T: Purdham, Dorn (2), Hopkins (2), Smith (2), Armour, Greenwood (2), McLinden, Leuluai
G: Sykes (12)
Wakey
T: Griffin, Jeffries
If I remember correctly they scored both tries after we had declared!
I hope this fond memory cheers up some Londoners and maybe gives some Wakey fans a few cold shivers!

1795.jpg They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom, for trying to change the system from within
I'm coming now, I'm coming to reward them
First, we take Manhattan - then we take Berlin:1795.jpg |

| It was four seasons in one day that day!
Was it that week we went into liquidation as well?

| That drubbing will stick in my mind for a long time yet. Had some banter travelling down with the lads, loved doing a 360 of the Brentford ground and the boozers, got some Victoria Bitters and really looked forward to the game.
My enthusiasm soon faded as you guys strolled in tries, coupled with the weather.

| It was awful!!! A dismal drive back after a wretched Trinity was bulldozed by a London on fire. Sykes kicked 12 from 12 just to rub salt into the wounds. Champagne rugby vs stagnant bitter. The sudden snow made it even more unenjoyable!
Ah well, that's 2005. 18 - 10 in 2010

No, definitely 36-0 at half time and I think we added a few more before they got their first points, and I believe they also scored the final try of the match.
I think we beat Leigh something like 70-12 and hit Widnes for 60+ twice. The second Widnes game was the one where Dorn intercepted deep in his own half and just as he was about to be reeled in around 20 metres from the line offloaded to the supporting Tookey to run in the try.
That was a funny old season. We won four of our first five with a team full of unheralded new signings from down under, several of whom turned out to be inspirational - McLinden, Dorn, Leuluai, Hopkins, Haumono - then lost seven on the spin including one of Leigh's few wins that season - but recovered to finish in the top six.

Happy days!! Last time we got a to the playoffs that season, haven't had as much as a sniff of them since! Not sure we'll be doing anything other than hanging out near the bottom of the SL this year.
