| In my case work sat so cant make it so bias there against saturdays, but from the clubs point of veiw they have to keep it one or the other the only way to build crowds i feel.but then theres skys demands  |

I'm a firm believer that QRL have to go back to the London Broncos name (or modernize it) and get a decent marketing team on board.
Personally I would move to QPR. Yeah the leg room isn't ideal but you can market it easy as a Family Day.
Take an average family of 4 (Mother, Father, Son, Daughter). The marketing is easy. The Father & Son spend the day at the Rugby whilst the Ladies work up a sweat in the Westfield Centre.
Just a idea (prepares to have his idea ripped up) but the majority of Londoners & Southerners think Harlequins are an RU team if the Broncos marketed themsleves correctly then they would know that Broncos would be an RL team

The majority are right then. Harlequins is the name of a rugby union club that plays at the Stoop.
It is also the name of a rugby league club that plays at the Stoop.
Quite enjoyed coming along for a Thursday evening. But I work by Waterloo so it was a doddle to get there by train.
Took me the standard two hours to get home though, which was less fun that time of night.
(I really don't see incidentally how the answer to the problems of never sticking to a thing - kick offs, name, location - is to move them all again.) |
